Reimagine Middle Branch

Reimagine Middle Branch is a community-driven Master Planning initiative to reconnect 19 South Baltimore neighborhoods, 30 parks, and more than 11 miles of shoreline along the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River. The Plan includes a collection of ongoing and future projects, actions, and engagements intended to allow the local community to activate the waterfront.

Assedo Consulting led the engagement, marketing, and communications efforts in the development of the Master Plan intended to create Baltimore’s next great waterfront. The outreach team coordinated with stakeholders to solicit input on the vision for the project area – collecting meaningful feedback to help shape the plan for the future. A key part of the engagement included designing activations of various sizes to help people determine the possibilities available as the waterfront becomes accessible to the community again. The team worked with interns to support engagement efforts and reviewed final projects designed by each intern to infuse new innovations into the planning process.
