Position: Planner I/GIS Specialist

Responsibilities: Liv is responsible for creating meeting presentations, mailers, and other outreach materials that help the project team communicate with the community. She also uses GIS software to construct mailing lists, site maps, and other types of important visuals. She does work in the field as well, including stakeholder meeting facilitation and construction site visits.

Why Assedo? I chose Assedo because it is an inclusive space to work that is very welcoming of different ideas and backgrounds. Assedo is important because of its commitment to quality and innovation in its mission to empower local communities.

Background: Liv is a recent University of Maryland grad from Prince George’s County, Maryland. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy, with a concentration in Culture and the Environment. She is interested in community-based work, and spent her last semester assisting the Chesapeake Bay Foundation on an environmental justice project based in Maryland and D.C. She has an education in a wide range of subjects including horticulture, environmental economics, archaeology, anthropology, and more.
