OLIVIA BLACKWELL

Planner II / GIS Specialist

At Assedo Consulting, my concentration is in environmental planning, sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. My projects center on how environmental systems, policy decisions, and infrastructure investments intersect, and how they relate to stormwater management, water quality improvements, and parks and trail design.

One of the major environmental and infrastructure initiatives I support is the Clean Water Partnership, a multi-year program serving communities across Prince George’s County. Through this effort, I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Our focus is on stormwater retrofit projects, pond improvements, and other water quality interventions that advance long-term environmental and infrastructure goals. I develop public-facing materials, including presentations, GIS-based maps, and educational graphics with communities that support the sharing of environmental and water-related initiatives.

Why Assedo? I am driven by Assedo’s commitment to quality, innovation, and inclusivity, and value working in an environment where diverse ideas and perspectives strengthen how we serve and empower local communities.

I hold a BS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
