I am a Senior Project Manager at Assedo Consulting, where I help oversee multiple infrastructure and energy projects from planning through construction. I also contribute to quality control by reviewing, proofreading, and editing materials before they reach stakeholders to verify clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all communications.

I spent eight years at the Maryland Department of Transportation helping deliver communications and outreach across major initiatives, including the State Secretary’s Office and the Purple Line Light Rail project connecting Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Before that, I spent 30 years in daily newspapers and was part of the Newsday team awarded the 1997 Pulitzer Prize in Journalism for coverage of the TWA Flight 800 tragedy.

Over my nearly 40-year career, I have held various roles ranging from journalism in daily newspapers to communications and outreach on major infrastructure programs. These experiences have helped inform the way I share information with communities, focusing on interpersonal, direct, and accurate storytelling on infrastructure projects across Maryland.

I hold a BA from Dartmouth College, a certificate in Multi-Cultural Management from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. I also am a certified Maryland Procurement Officer.
