DEBBIE WARD

Project Manager II

In my work at Assedo Consulting, I bring my expertise as an ACIP Certified Planner to help clients implement comprehensive public engagement strategies to support successful project outcomes. As a project manager, I have experience creating successful outreach campaigns in varied fields from infrastructure and energy to transportation and master planning with a specific focus on guiding outreach in the lead up to and during active construction.

‍My work centers on helping clients communicate complex processes to diverse stakeholders, identify priorities, and take actionable next steps to meet project goals. My approach to every project is rooted in empowering communities to build trust and understanding so that our message can meet stakeholders when and where they are ready to hear it and by means that are familiar and convenient to their specific lives.

My experience includes affordable housing, transportation, energy, and utility projects. I earned an MPS in Urban and Regional Planning from Georgetown University and a BA in Urban Studies from Fordham University and enjoy integrating theoretical insights from the academy into building on the ground projects and relationships.

When not at work, you can find me at a local show, lost in a museum, playing bar trivia, or on the couch with my spouse, a cup of tea, and our two cats.
